Hotel Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The stay was nice and enjoyable. Would have like to have a hit tub, but the fact that they had 5 pools and can choose different ones each day was nice. Food was great especially the steakhouse. Staff was very nice. Would stay again if I go back."
"10/10 experience. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful ocean view. Beautiful pools. 4 à la carte restaurants. All were very good. All 4 are not open every night, so plan ahead to visit all restaurants when they’re open. Overall, staff was very nice. Some went above and beyond. A lot of entertainment as well. Kids show and adult show every night. The kids club was one of the best I’ve seen. Kids can be dropped off, if 3 years old. Or parents can hang out with them inside the kids club. The entire resort is very clean and new. Great water temp and pressure in hotel rooms. Free ocean activities, snorkeling, kayaks, paddleboards and pedal boats. Negril is a short drive if wanting to get off compound. $40 each way for a taxi seemed to be the “non rip off” tourist price. "
"Decor and style of the resort is very nice. Bedding is thin, no robes or slippers for regular guests. The beach is pretty, but not walkable beyond the resort, or at least not recommended to do so. Food was okay, you won’t go hungry. The coffee shop wasn’t good. Pools were not cleaned frequently enough or had bad filtration, we had a swim up suite and besides dumping of chemicals, in 5 days we never saw someone physically clean it once and it showed. Would I personally stay here again? No. But if there was a really good deal I would maybe recommend to friends with kids. "
"Had a wonderful stay at Hotel 39 in Montego Bay! The rooms were super clean, and the entire property was spotless, welcoming, and very well kept. The staff were incredibly pleasant and made the experience even better with their friendly and helpful attitude. It was also very affordable while still being comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montego Bay!"
"Clean room, friendly staff for the most part. The people that ran the pedal boats and kayaks were a little frustrating one day otherwise everyone was super friendly. Beautiful beach. Snack bar left something to be desired "
