Deja Resort All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Our stay at Deja All Inclusive was very successful. From the moment we arrived to the time we left things ran smoothly, and we did not run into any problems. From the front desk, to the crossing guard, and the taxi drivers; everyone was very helpful. The dining hall workers were excellent as well. If I had any complaints to make I would say sometimes the desserts were hit or miss. The bathroom door inside our room had no knob / door handle. Additionally, the pool could have used some cleaning. At times some staff were overly friendly and trying to smooth talk (which can be very frustrating and uncomfortable). I’m on vacation to enjoy myself and be unbothered, not to be hit on and flirted with by staff. Moreover, the overall aesthetic of the resort looked a bit outdated, but not an huge deal considering the price. Other than those things, I would recommend Deja. It is very affordable, and the beach access across the street is phenomenal. One of the best beaches I have ever been on. The beach was clean, and the water was so clear."

"I had made an error at time of booking due to a really incomplete and confusing listing for this property on Orbitz that had a min age requirement for 18 years old. This in my opinion was not clearly noted on the Orbitz website and I had made a booking here for myself and my 16 year old daughter. After we had checked in for about 3 hours, the hotel manager informed me that we would have to leave the resort due to my daughter being under 18. As it was already late in the evening and we obviously had no alternate lodging set, I felt the staff was very callous in having us depart with really no sincere effort to assist us. We ended up having to find a place almost an hour away and it made for a very stressful evening. The resort did offer to pay for taxi to the location but I felt they could have done more to assist or allow us to stay the night and find alternate lodging in the morning. Hotel management and service were very poor and really uncaring at this location. Even prior to us being removed from the property, I felt the staff was not professional or courteous."

"A good option for visitors who want to stay in one location, although it’s a bit far from shopping areas, so a taxi is usually required. The entertainment was ok and the hotel is enormous—so large that I got lost several times trying to find my room! It certainly has a “wow” factor. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were good, though I would have appreciated a little more variety in the food options. The bedrooms are somewhat outdated, but they were comfortable and perfectly adequate overall. Iberosestar wave"

"This was exactly the kind of welcoming to Jamaica we needed. The people, vibes, drinks were so so goood! The food at the hotel could definitely have been better especially the reserve only restaurants. Otherwise this was everything and more! Love from South Africa❤️"
