"Clean room, quiet courtyard and area, full amenities and maids were prompt. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Lobby is smaller and not full of tourists or chaos. Everything from inside to outside (there’s different areas of rooms as well as bathrooms, kitchen, pool, laundry, courtyard access) was so clean. The hotel is historic and beautiful but it looks and smells all brand new. I’m psycho about mold and dirt and this place had 0 concerns from me. I felt safe 100% of the time all hours of the day. Everything is completely walk able as well as Walgreens across the street, a mall down the way, River across the street, park and beautiful mule carriages, and the street cars. "

This man is a true connoisseur of his home and turned me on to great places to eat. But it wasn’t just that, you could tell he had a zest for what he does and for that I will always return to this hotel."
