"Location was excellent! A few places to eat and have a drink inside, great fuse from observatory 11 and from our room; easy walking distance to the French Quarter Bourbon Street and other places. Particular shout out to the guys and the young lady out front that helped us get a cab an Uber or a shuttle. Every day they offered a friendly greeting with a smile and unbounded professionalism. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends that are in that area."

"We showed up at the hotel Monteleon for a quick two night visit to New Orleans. The entire staff was amazing from the moment we stepped out of the taxi cab to the moment we left to the airport. We were greeted at the front door by one of the best doorman ever, Thomas, who was amazing with the smile he gave us and the friendship and the absolute professionalism he displayed. We were taken care of by the great staff throughout the hotel stay. Our room was fantastic, quiet and enjoyable. The Carousel bar was amazing as usual. We also had the check baggage room attendant, Nolan, who was one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. He took care of us at all times, knew us by name every time we walked by and was like a friend by the time we left. We will always stay at the Monteleon any time we come to New Orleans. What a fantastic place and fantastic people. I just can’t say enough and I have reviewed many places and hotels over the years, but this is the best place in all of the United States."

"The hotel is in a convenient location to Bourbon st and restaurants. It’s on the perimeter of the French quarter so is a bit quieter. If you do a hop on hop off bus tour, a stop is just down the street. The staff are kind and helpful. Also the bar happy hour was great!"
