"The great western is updating rooms . We got a family room that was newly renovated and it was beautifully done, we had a sea view and street view. There was a misunderstanding on my booking but staff were very helpful and sorted it all out. The hotel has limited parking but you have the option to prebook a space. We struggled with our Irish phone to book parking at the train station as it wouldn't download the app. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice. We were only passing through so did not spend anytime in Newquay."
"The owners Margaret and Owen are so wonderful. We received the best hospitality. All the staff were so lovely. The room was clean and decent. Great bathrooms. Breakfast was really good. Location is perfect, right by a beautiful beach and high street. Already planning to come back and stay here again!"
