Don’t let the arrival at the front put you off, as the hotel’s ambience is all to do with its fabulous position overlooking Mawgan Porth bay. The sea and sky views from all the main views are stunning. Restaurant and all day diner serve high quality local, fresh choices.
The hotel caters for families and dogs- so not ideal if you are looking to get away from it all.
Breakfast concentrates on buffet bakery products of cakes and croissants: which proves stodgy for a longer stay; but they do offer a Cornish breakfast or mushrooms on toast for an extra £6.
Information regarding activities, restaurant, the 3 swimming pools and exercise classes was hard to find/decypher, even from the website. A brochure in the room and notice boards would be appreciated. We didn’t discover the sister hotel facilities until the last day! Even the restaurant menu’s on the entrance were inconsequential.
However, we enjoyed our stay and extended to 8 nights as there was plenty to see and do in the area, and nice walks from the hotel down to the sea.
