Super friendly and helpful staff. Had a loveiy meal in the evening and enjoyed the general ambience of the place includjng some locals playing guitars and singing. Dog friendly for dining and staying. We had a twin room which was spacious and had everythinv we needed. Shower was amazing! Great place to stay for visiting the area. We visited Teifi marshes parkrun which is a short 15 - 20 minute drive away

Always a great stay at the Trewern
Great stay at the Trewern Hotel, Clean comfortable accommodation in a lovely old building next to a river. Food high quality - both breakfast and evening menu with lots of choice. Staff fantastic - friendly and welcoming. Beautiful walks in the area and 10 minutes from an outstanding beach. Also dog-friendly

Lovely stay -
Always a great stay here. Comfortable room, lovely food including breakfast. Lovely, Friendly staff (and locals), good choice of drinks esp cask ale. Very dog friendly. Location great for walks - and a pint afterwards! Cheers!

Great all round!
The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing - all locally sourced, organic ingredients. We will definitely be going back!

The hotel is set in a lovely location, opposite a river down a quiet lane. Staff were helpful and friendly.the meals were good.breakfasts lovely with a choice of what was available.we had a great stay and would return

Only thing I would question would be the Full Welsh breakfast. Wouldn't really use the word full, more Small Welsh breakfast.

I found this hidden gem on hotels.com We were looking for a quaint, off the beaten track Welsh bedroom & Tavern and this place delivered. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay and couldn't stop fussing our dog. We are supper & breakfast here and enjoyed every bite. The pub was cosy and had a great selection of beers & ales. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms very modern. My only criticism would be the room we stayed in ( #2) didn't have opening windows, as such, the room was a bit warm and we couldn't cool it down. We will definitely be returning to the Trewern Arns hotel and hope others will enjoy it as much as we did.

We had a wonderful night’s stay at Trewern Arms. The staff were amazingly helpful when our plans changed last minute and they were able to offer us an extra futon in our room. The room was spacious and clean, beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was very modern with the best shower ever! We had a fantastic meal in the evening and the breakfast was also way above our expectations. The staff definitely made this place as they were so helpful and friendly and we also loved the cosy bar area. All in all a really enjoyable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights as we were in wales for a wedding. Everything was perfect. All staff were friendly, welcoming and accomodating. We had a family room and was really spacious for the 4 of us. They had thought of everything you could need while staying at a hotel. The breakfast was lovely too and there was a really good range to choose from even for the kids.

We have just had a fan stay at The Trewern. A totally unexpected booking after a cancellation of a Pet Friendly Cottage in the area....that worked to our advantage as we found a "gem" in this hotel. Our 2 little dogs were made so welcome. We could have them with us for meals in the bar and little treats and water bowls were available for them. I always contact in advance to ensure I get a pet friendly room and Angie was very helpful with this. There is ample room in the beer garden and field opposite pubs for short walks and many longer ones around the village or beyond . The staff here are so kind and helpful, Billy is a credit to the place. The food is excellent,fresh and locally sourced, the Chef happy to talk about the menu. It is very reasonably priced too. Really good choices on menu and specials board and plenty of choice at breakfast. The Ales and Ciders excellent. This is a place you can relax in, it's part of the community. We ate there every night of our 3 night stay and local customers made us feel as welcome as the staff. There are also music events which happen at The Trevern and Beer Festivals. It's Campervan friendly too. A warm accessible culture has been nurtured here.....need I say, we'll be returning.

Stayed one night following late ferry back into Fishguard from Rosslare, Ireland. We were delayed but hotel reception were extremely helpful and made arrangements for a very late check in. Hotel room had been recently refurbished to a high standard with very comfortable bed and extremely spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Good quality toiletries and well stocked refreshments tray. Breakfast was amazing - full english and the eggs benedict were brilliantly cooked and presented. Will definitely stay again when holidaying in the area as good base for touring north Pembrokeshire and Cardigan. Newport close by with interesting shops and good range of cafes.

Lovely stay - I wish we could have had a longer break at The Trewern. Great breakfast and staff (Kim). Friendly locals in the bar. Really nice evening dinners. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms.

Don't be put off by the dining room decor. The food,which is what matters, is excellent. Imaginative menu, interesting wine at a reasonable price. However, what is impressive is the girls who seem to run it know what they are doing and are really anxious to please. Our children, used to London restaurants, were ery complimentary. We shall be back to this quiet country Inn

Fantastic one night stay, staff very friendly and chatty, our room was lovely, bright and clean. We loved the traditional atmosphere is in the pub area with all the original stone etc. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nothing was too much trouble when i asked if i could tweak the dish i wanted slightly. Highly recommend and would return 100%.
