"Celtic Manor, is good and it is a beast of a place. I can't fault the service or cleanliness but the rooms (Signature suite on 6th Floor) are getting tired and perhaps the hotel is living a little on its past glories. Breakfast was lovely and the Signature Lounge is great with a lovely view. Dinner at the Grill was also very nice. Worst item were the pillows which were old - some rock hard, others too soft without enough filling. Really need to do better here. It would also have been nice...

"Very good value for money hotel stay. Good sized room that was well equipped- free safe, iron and ironing board. Nice additions like plenty biscuits and 2 bottles of water. Check in was pretty quick, only waited 15 minutes. Complimentary muffins at check-in was a nice surprise. Staff very pleasant "
