Convenient for staying near LGA (especially for the shuttle, & I'll say the best employee I interacted with was the early morning shuttle driver! He was so cheerful!) & the rooms are clean and a good size. That's about it for the pros. For the cons, the "newly renovated gym" already had a broken machine, the bed was extremely hard (& I like a firm mattress), staff was unhelpful & mostly unfriendly, & they charge an early check in fee of $100 that's not disclosed anywhere on Expedia or their website, & they won't waive it. After complaining the manager said she'd reduce it for me (after saying I should've called in advance to ask if they have one, but only once previously have I been to a hotel that charges one & it was clearly stated on the website, in all my years of travel I've never had to ask), then when I checked out the next day it was still on there in full. Luckily the girl working the front desk during check out was the only other great employee I encountered, & she fixed it for me.
