Beautiful views and super friendly, helpful staff who assisted when our driver couldn’t find the place. It gets quite chilly at night with thin bedding and no heat, but the location is great for walking into Jiufen (just be ready for lots of stairs). The included umbrellas were a thoughtful touch and definitely needed.

Check-in was quick & easy, greeted by the friendly hosts & a furry one too. Parking is free on-site but only after 1pm on check-in day till 12pm on check-out day Room was cosy & comfy with an amazing view. Had a nice seating area inside & a verendah outside to soak up the views. Room is also clean-ish (except for the high ceilings but understandably), came thoughtfully equipped with everythg we might need. Would definitely recommend for a cosy stay in 九份 even though it's 430 over steps below 老街 😅

It was a lovely view as we took the best room available. There are slightly smaller rooms also . The real challenge is that they do not speak english but the owner tried his best to help with booking taxis . However I would not recommend this hotel for Older people as climb up the stairs it tough though there is a slightly longer path if you take the route through the Jiufen visitor centre . It has a very nice cozy homely feeling and I would like to come back for sure . The breakfast at an addititional charge is highly recommended. Please remember not to carry heacy suitcases as recommended by the Hotel themselves in checking instructions .

Sunnyroom is a nice place to stay in Jiufen. Very close walking distance to Jiufen old town by stairs. Parking is easy. Direction to the property is clear as provided by property. - Staff working in that property is nice and friendly!! - Room is clean and have nice view from balcony. - Overall stay was great!! :D

Perhaps best location in Jieufeng area. The best accommodation in the area for the car traveler. Easy to park. we had wonderful 23rd anniversary at Sunny Inn. with Amazing view brunch. Thank you for the wonderful room. I would like to stay at Oz again with children.

Great Hostel!

Room was very clean and comfortable. The view was incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did the breakfast which was great and added to the experience, the view from the breakfast area is great. Would definitely recommend! Lots of stairs up to the main JiuFen old street and tea house area, but we didn’t mind, after all the whole town is full of stairs.

Sunnyroom is a gorgeous and clean place, very close to 九份老街. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We literally gasped when we entered the beautiful room, and were able to enjoy a lovely bath with a view!

很滿意的旅館，謝謝朱生的服務，我住7號房即公衆空間食早餐屋後的一座。只有一個個問題就是沖涼位置沒有浴簾，以至沖涼時水流住坐厠位形成稹水，十分不方便，我想其他住過這間房的人也身同感受，如果能改善這問就滿分，我會推薦這地方，服務和景觀可讃。 I would like to recommend this hotel,good view and service(thank you Mr Chu),only one thing needs to improve is the shower area which need to hang curtain prevent water flow to the toilet area that really annoying me.My room number is 7,hope it will be improved. Very friendly staff who could speak some English. They gave directions to help make the most of our stay in Jiufen. Unfortunately, the property is located at the bottom of many, many stairs, and so it is quite a workout to get to Jiufen Old Street.

It was a duplex, spacious with amazing like breath taking view!!!! We had trouble communicating with the staffs but all of them were so nice. There is authentic tea they nake in the morning, I don’t know what it is but so yumny. I'll definitely stay again. I recommend anyone to stay at least 1 night in Jiufen if you're visiting Taipei

The view from the room window was breathtaking! I felt relaxed as soon as I stepped into the room and saw the beautiful view. The design of the room was clean with a modern style of bathroom. Reception room was also the breakfast room, which was also cozy and pretty. Although its location requires 5 minutes' walk including some stairs, the owner offered a ride to the bus stop when checking out.

Nice sea view, friendly owner

The place is really a nice place to stay and we can even have a nice sea view from the windows in the living room. Only drawbacks are the curtain is not able to close fully hence people will be able to see you from outside. And jiufen has lots of ants and cockroach around so be careful with your food while eating inside the room. We opened our food to eat and before we started eating the ants already swarming around the container (like in 30seconds time?) Place is cool and comfortable bed provided. They even helped us to move our luggage to the bus station (it's a big help because the way to the station is pretty steep)

A sunny room at Sunny Room

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunny Room! The family that owns it was very helpful and polite and the room had everything we needed. The views were stunning and their two adorable and friendly dogs, and cute and friendly cat were a joy to see around the property. The breakfast is a must while you’re there. Nothing opens super early in Jiufen so it was nice to have a beautiful vegetarian breakfast on the property before starting our day. Lots of stairs but that wasn’t a surprise as we had read other reviews prior to booking. The whole town has a lot of stairs so if you don’t do well with stairs then I wouldn’t recommend visiting Jiufen at all. Overall, our stay was great and the location was absolutely perfect for everything we needed! Thank you so much, Sunny Room!

This place is stunningly beautiful - I just want to say that I did arrive early to drop my luggage and had a very strange experience with an unfriendly cleaner. But other than that incredible. If you’re dropping luggage early I would suggest just dropping in the foyer rather than going looking for staff.
