"Went on a trip with my four siblings and had an amazing time here. Plenty of room in the bedrooms and a very nice common area with an unbelievable deck outside. Will definitely return in the summer to take advantage of the deck more. The views are stunning. You can see both the sunrise and the sunset over Galway Bay."

"Wonderful hotel right in the heart of everything. Amazing room. Top notch room staff. Restaurant outlets were underwhelming which was a disappointment. While beautiful the staff we encountered during our stay was either untrained or a bit over their head."

The room was amazing! A bar, a record player, an ipad, beautiful decor, fancy led 'mood lighting' in the bathroom, amazing toiletries, delicious breakfast. Great bar, lovely staff. Honestly the best hotel experience we've ever had.

Don’t judge this book by its cover! Little kerb appeal but very well thought out, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is self service but great choice of food. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel is ideally situated to avoid city centre traffic, free parking and an easy 25 min walk to all attractions or a taxi. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We ate in the bar/restaurant both nights and the food was excellent as were the breakfast. Will definitely stay again when we return to Galway

We spent a night in Glenlo Abbey and we are glad that we did, the hotel is beautiful. Set within the grounds of their golf course you are surrounded by greenery. Inside the hotel is lavishly decorated whilst retaining a cosy feel. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food served in the Fine Dining Pullman restaurant was different and tasty

Derek the host was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side and the bathroom was tiny but ok for a couple of nights. Breakfast was very good. Would certainly recommend but would try to book a different room next time

We found the hotel clean, modern and well laid out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful without exception. Our room was comfortable and served our purposes perfectly. The restaurants were so good we only ate in the hotel and didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere. Very happy customer

Great modern rooms above a constantly busy bar. Much nicer than the website portrays, I was happily surprised and will definitely stay here when I come back to Galway. 10 min walk to Eyre square is definitely better than the 3 minute (€9!!!!!!) taxi trip.

Excellent stay at the Nest. Very comfortable bed with 2 good pilllows, great shower and big towels, little fridge in the room with hangers and full length mirror. The staff downstairs were helpful and check in was quick. Decent kitchen downstairs where you can help yourself to water, tea and coffee. Two bus stops nearby outside where busses to town are regular and takes around 10 minutes to Eyre Square. The only minor thing was there is no hairdryer but I didn't expect there to be. I would...

We normally book a hotel for our trips but prices in the Galway area were very high at the time of our visit as there was a music festival in progress. Our room was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The decor is very much in the style of a private house rather than a hotel. Guests also have use of a lounge downstairs with a multi...

We had a great stay! The room was lovely, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. All the staff were lovely, friendly and engaging, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was also fantastic.
The only minor gripe was that the grouting and sealant in the bathroom could do with being updated. Otherwise, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay!
