"We had a lot of issues with this hotel. Our check-in experience was terrible, the receptionist was rude and disrespectful, not sure if I ever had a worse experience than this one. Overall below our expectations. Especially communication, no follow-up from management about our issues, Spa cancelled our beauty appointments on short notice. The bell boys and guest service staff were very helpful though. Would not book this hotel again. Disappointing for a 5 star Waldorf Astoria."

"Clean room, Staff was friendly. A quick walk to bourbon street, jackson square and the trolley stops. Good location. Valet parking available for hotel guest. "

"While it wasn’t a bad stay, the stay was strange. Online it’s says you get a restaurant credit of 15 that I did not get. We also didn’t get any of the other things they said either, we did get a water bottle that was useless. I just think for the price they should do what they say. They placed a hold on my account for twice the amount of the room, I understand holds but days later I’m still waiting for that second charge to no longer be pending. The lady that checked us in hates her job and it shows. No warm fuzzy welcome. The washing machine on floor also apparently was malfunctioning so they placed an out of order sign on but it continued to buzz very loud all night our 1st. Great location and nothing made the stay miserable but they also didn’t appear to care the washer was like an alarm going off all night. "

"Shops are nearby and everything is walkable from the French quarter. I would choose a different location to stay at, but everyone’s experience is different. The staff took the time out to explain things to some people and not to others. I personally would not stay at this hotel again"

"Our room was "ready" but when we walked in bathroom was not clean toilet dirty and dirty towels. AC didn't work it was 78 when we walked in. Maintenance tried to fix it twice and on our last day it was 76. It was the worst Embassy we've stayed. "

"The property was nice and clean and in a close location to the casino and Canal Street. However the noise was so loud from outside and other rooms that I could tell the hotel is not properly insulated. I could not stay here again. "
