"Absolutely sensational. A true hidden gem. Booked this not knowing what to expect but WOW! This place is a work of art. The owners have renovated this lovely building to an exceptional standard. The place feels fit for royalty, and you can definitely see the attention and care to detail the owners have put into this. Room was 10/10 and designed to a very high standard. From when you arrive and walk into the place, you will get an instant feel for how special this stay is. Breakfast 10/10, everything provided and more. Full hot menu alongside plentiful cold options. The owners/hosts were so helpful and friendly and we would recommend this stay to absolutely anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil stay. Extremely highly rated. "Room very tired looking and needed updating. Bathroom smelt. Not very pleasant ! Toilet tool holder hanging off the wall but cleanliness was the big issue for me personally"

"In my first room the sound-proofing window panes were loose and didn’t fit properly, and they rattled. Not possible to sleep. Changed rooms. In new room, panes also didn’t fit together, but didn’t rattle. My son in room next door had same problem. Bacon at breakfast was as dry as leather."

"Stayed here in February. Check-in was quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was number 5 and was beautiful with modern equipment. It nice and warm in our room throughout our stay. No need to go out, just get parked and have your evening meal in the pub/restaurant, I can recommend the fish & chips. If you are looking for accommodation in this area, I would definitely recommend Pack Horse. "
