A good place to stay if you drive

Beautiful retreat right in the heart of Hunter Valley. Modern and thought out room with all the amenities you need. Loved the views of the hills and lake, with the bonus of seeing a couple of wild kangaroos early in morning outside of the cabin! The breakfast provisions are a nice touch, as is the complimentary shuttle to Bimbadgen. Would really recommend the latter for their sunset sessions.

We had the most amazing stay here in a 3 bedroom house. It was very large and great for entertaining as we also had some family staying at Peppers. Will be back again.

What a great hotel. Room are fantastic and only 1km from town. Lots of parking an a lovely little bar for a drink

Stayed at the Hermitage for 2 nights and it was great - comfortable, clean and quiet with all the amenities we needed. We ate in the on-site Italian restaurant too and the food was amazing.

Nice, clean, quiet, good parking, pool. The only downside was no outside bin. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant place, on a trip from Adelaide to Brisbane and stopping overnight in about 8 places, rate this as one of the top places we have stayed. Really comfortable and staff were really nice, well done on a super facility.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. 3 x C's - Should be 3 x A's - Worthy of the high rating

Certainly the food was very good, with dinners served very pleasantly by the hostess between certain hours and breakfasts brought to my room at a time of my choice, but both were rather expensive. I could have investigated restaurants elsewhere, but I don't think there were any close by. I had problems connecting to the internet and these were readily solved by...

We used this hotel for a stopper when we were travelling North from Sydney. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff were friendly. The family room was huge but we found the bathroom to be a bit grim as it was all on one tiled level. All good other than that.

A quiet lovely clean motel with pleasant staff. Food very good in the restaurant- make sure you take your appetite as portions are big. Breakfast was room service which was very good.
