"A Perfect Welcome to Sri Lanka I stayed at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo as my first stop after arriving in Sri Lanka, and it was the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days. The location right on the beach is unbeatable — relaxing, scenic, and a great introduction to the country. The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully maintained, offering everything I needed for a restful stay. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Their exceptional service made the whole experience feel effortless. Overall, Galle Face Hotel was the ideal start to my journey. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Colombo."

"We booked as it had a good review. On arrival we thought the rooms were a bit dated but everything went up from there. The grounds are lovely, nice and intimate, the staff were fantastic and Mr Gomez greeted us at breakfast every morning. You will get offered eggs for breakfast but you can ask for a menu but limited offerings. having said that the eggs/omelette were fine for us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would stay again."

"This is the third time I have stayed at Jetwing Beach on a stopover to India. It is convenient to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and many overlook the beach. It is very quiet, and the breakfast is fabulous (particularly the Sri Lankan curry. Yum!)."
