With the continuation of COVID-19, travelling today comes with a few more challenges than usual. Take a look at these worthwhile tips before jumping on your flight to Neebish Island:

• Understand what, if any, rules or restrictions apply to both your origin and destination. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check in advance.
• Keep your face mask on even during airport screening. A TSA employee will require you to lower your mask temporarily for ID purposes.
• Rather than handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, position it straight on the scanner yourself. After that, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will need to be removed from your bag for X-ray scanning.
• Place any personal items (phone, keys and wallet) in your carry-on rather than a bin to reduce handling during the screening process.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to open your bag for inspection.
