"First of all the location on Google maps is the restaurant that the owners run and not yours accommodation so it's important when you book to follow their joining instructions. The owners are very friendly and helpful, giving you a quick brief on all there is to see and do in jiufen before taking you to your place. If you have big and heavy bags you should contact hotel staff to arrange transport for you from Taipei so the driver can communicate with hotel staff to go on the ideal route and minimize the hill and or stairs for moving the belongings.
