"My stay at the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa was disappointing. The location was difficult to navigate, especially with all the construction in the area, and walking uphill with luggage made it even more inconvenient. The service was another major issue. The staff were not welcoming, and they repeatedly tried to charge my daughter for breakfast even though I had already paid for three guests with breakfast included. Despite bringing it up multiple times, the problem kept happening. Breakfast itself was also frustrating. It was spread out across different areas, and it took time just to figure out where everything was located. Instead of feeling relaxing, it felt disorganized and confusing. Housekeeping added to the frustration by consistently leaving only two towels instead of three, even though our reservation clearly included three guests. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations, and I left feeling dissatisfied with both the service and the overall value."

"Breakfast option were good. Property is old/cracked/yellowed and it shows. Minimal interaction with staff and they were ok. "

"Location was super convenient with the theater, shopping center, and onsen all next door. Onsen is an extra cost, but discounted for hotel guests. So relaxing, clean, and the onsen even has tattoo covers inside available from the vending machines (light skin tone) in case you forget covers. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful :)"

"Just up the street from Diver mall and the giant unicorn gundam. The hotel is well maintained and the frontdesk staff is super nice and friendly. They have a Lawsons on the second floor and a Thai resturant on the ground floor. They have another reaturant for breakfast but we slept in. Our washer/dryer in the room got stuck and we were unable to wash all we wanted to. They have two very large booths full of different types of amenities, face masks and other bath and beauty products."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. My dad gets very tired walking long distances and this hotel is so centrally located we were able to make it to the train and explore the area easily. The staff was very helpful, especially the bellman who helped us get a cab and recommended places to go and spoke to our cab driver for us (we speak little Japanese). The hotel itself has sizable rooms (compared to our Tokyo hotel). Everything was clean and organized throughout. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay near the train without it feeling like it’s a quick stay/ commuter hotel. Would recommend."
