"Excellent welcome from Emily followed through with the rest of the team during my whole stay. The history is great and makes the visit really special The elevators really could do with a refurb but in the scheme of things it wouldn’t put me off returning for future visits."

"The location is spectacular but that’s definitely the best part of this hotel. The king bed was a cheap mattress with thin bedding. The check-in took a long time because the two people in front of us were lodging long complaints and there was only one person working. We only stayed one night. "

"Loved the bar. Breakfast was overpriced and just meh. Room was clean. Good water pressure in shower. As the hotel is directly over a highway, that can directly impact a person's experience. If you're used to noise, you'll be fine, add a start to my review. If you're used to quiet, don't stay here, take a star off of my review. Even up on the 7th floor, all I got was two hours of sleep as the noise from the traffic (and the train) was more than I could deal with. Sorry. Move this hotel a 1/4 mile and I'd be fine with it."
