Many cute shops but they are over priced and many sell items that one can find at a Hobby Lobby type stores. You can find some unique shops (wood carvers, art pieces, and whimsical clothing) off the Main Street. It is a nice weekend getaway.

I used to come to Nashville regularly back in the 1970s, and it seems more touristy now. There don't seem to be as many actual artists and artisans making their work available as there used to be. Still a pretty little town, though.

It's a shame that during perhaps the busiest tourist day in recent memory (the eclipse), that most of the shops in town were closed before 6:00! However, it saved me hundreds of dollars!

Nashville is a quaint artist colony, though a bit touristy. Brown County Music Hall is an excellent venue. We had a lot of fun walking around and taking a carriage ride.

Many shops are unique, but we found this time around, that there are too many shops selling a lot of products made in China. We prefer unique and local things.
