A recent stay at the Hilton left us largely impressed. While the décor is beginning to show its age and would benefit from some modernisation, this minor drawback is easily offset by the hotel's many strengths. The rooms offer genuine comfort where it counts, the beds are excellent, and the pricing is fair for what you receive. The staff deserve a particular mention for their friendliness and attentiveness throughout our visit. A highlight was the complimentary drinks offering, which created a warm, social atmosphere at the bar and added a lovely communal touch to the stay. Overall, a positive experience that we'd happily repeat. Recommended for travellers seeking comfort and value without pretension.
