"Fortune Heevan is a very comfortable and nice property in Srinagar. The rooms are clean, well designed and spacious giving a view of the well maintained gardens. Food is excellent with local cuisine on the menu and a separate restaurant just offering Peshawari cuisine. Staff is courteous, with special mention of Khalid at the restaurant who took very good care of us. The hotel is within walking distance from Nishat and Shalimar gardens, however since there is no walking path and the road has moving traffic, walking is not advisable. Sharing cabs are available. Would highly recommend this hotel. "
