"This listing is a fraud. The property owner denied me the room which was paid and booked 20 days in advance saying there is no booking made through expedia. I had to wait the whole day on the road trying to connect with the agent without any response which eventually spoilt my whole trip.The property owner blames it on the agent -IRooms , the IRooms agent blames it on expedia and then switches off the phone. Looks like a fraud network "

"Hotel Southern Star is a wonderful place to stay while exploring the beautiful city of Mysore. The location is ideal — just a short ride away from all the main attractions, including Mysore Palace, the zoo, and the bustling Devaraja Market. Despite being close to everything, the hotel itself feels like a calm, green oasis in the middle of the city. The amenities are excellent. There are three restaurants to choose from, each serving delicious food with plenty of variety — from local South Indian dishes to continental options. The swimming pool is well-maintained and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, and the lush garden adds a lovely touch of serenity to the property. The staff deserve special mention — they are warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it’s arranging transport, offering local recommendations, or simply making sure you’re comfortable, they go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
