Very good location but old property. Bed were okay with soft mattress and pillows. Receptionist was great!
The muddy bed was old and rusty! Slight door to the balcony was extremely hard to open-slide. The slide door handle screws come loose. It was fixed and started unscrewing by itself again as you slide it to open or close. The kitchen has only two burner’s and you can’t use both at the same time!
Overall, it is a good place to stay if you don’t have to cook breakfast or lunch for the kids.
The overall stay was decent however the beds were very uncomfortable, paint chipping from the walls. There were also extra charges that they did not make known on time of booking. We also couldnt use the pool or hot tub because it closed too early on a weekend was very disappointing! Wont be staying there again.
Palms is great. The shower was not. Great pressure. It would go from cold to scalding. Would not regulate to an even temperature

Bad experience with the reservation. I arrived to the resort and no body was in the front desk when in the application say is 24/7 front desk, not answer the phone either the emergency contact.
We checked out a day early as room was not clean and we kept getting bit at night from mosquitoes or bed bugs. The hotel manager was going to refund us the last day that we had originally planned to stay but he said he can’t since it’s bought from Expedia. He recommended calling Expedia for the refund and said that if they call him, he will let them know he doesn’t mind refunding Expedia. Expedia service was horrible! They said they called , but they didn’t .. I want the last night reservation back , even if it’s in reward points ..
No phone number for emergency room was flooding they did not want to help and we had nowhere else to go and they lied about giving us a discount and charged us full price and we had to stay in a flooded room I do not recommend this hotel
OMG...Nooo!!! This place is in need of a complete gut and renovation! Units are condos with individual owners. Ours had furniture from the 80’s, the air conditioner didn’t work and the pool closed. Literally looked like an exact replica of the Golden Girl’s apartment. Final straw came when after a comped upgrade to a supposed better unit..we found BED BUGS...yes you read it right BED BUGS!!! Worst hotel experience ever!
We stayed at the Palms in 2019 and returned in 2020 expecting the same experience as our last. There were no staff upon checkin, our room had a broken bed, nasty floors, a blood splatter on the wall and was not what we had paid for. The pool was closed which was not listed when we made our reservation, the resort waited until we were on our way down to send out an automated phone call to let us know. It took 4 hours of our children not being able to step on the floor for hotels.com to be able to reach someone with Palms resort in order to be able to transfer us elsewhere. hotels.com did everything that they could to makeup for the insufficiency of Palms resort, Please do not ruin the first night of your vacation by booking here like we did.
Our hotel room was dirty. There was urine all over the toilet in the bathroom when we arrived. The beds were uncomfortable and the blankets seemed to be dirty. Staff was rude and stereotyped based on our age at check-in. Maintenance was drilling into the walls in the room next to us very early in the morning. You could hear everything in the street.
Great area for our honeymoon 😊 we enjoyed it to the fullest ❤️

Our room assignment upon arrival was not acceptable. Front desk very quickly responded and offered another room. Much better and matched our confirmation rm type. Indoor pool. closed but outdoor pool heated. Kids had fun.
Rooms need update and felt a bit uneasy in the area . Front desk agents great and very helpful.

The staff was nice enough. Cleaning lady was super nice and considerate. My issue had to do with the them dropping the ball with our room. I paid for something I didn’t get. When I was told I would be called to change rooms the next day, I was forgotten. No call and no apologies. Other than that, the room was ok and I got what I paid for. View was excellent. Indoor pool had odd smell.
I checked in and upon seeing the room I left the hotel right away. The hotel would not allow me to check out so that they would not have to process a refund. I did not stay. I had to find another place to stay. The rooms are horrible.

it is quite and the counter staff were polite and gave me clear information
Came to Myrtle Beach for the annual Carolina Country Music Festival. NOT IMPRESSED with this hotel. The first room they put us in was absolutely disgusting, outdated, and literally falling apart. The bathroom had mold, the door between the room and living area was completely rotted, and the sliding glass door would not open. After speaking w/the reception desk, they were able to move us into a different room, but I will not stay there again. I understand the rooms are individually owned, however, there should be a guideline the owners have to follow.
