"We had originally booked a guest house in the mid-town area of Anchorage that canceled on us. Expedia was totally impressed me by guarantee our booking by rebooking us in "comparable" accommodations, covering any difference. The Lake Front was very much an upgrade for us in comparison to our original booking. The room was spacious, had extra counter top and mirror in the room to organize our gear for the day, there is a bar done stairs that was busy. Beds comfortable. Only wall unit a/cs and behind the black out curtain with no ceiling fan so the night go warm because the a/c was behind the drape."

"This is the BEST location if you're traveling via the Alaska Railroad. Short walking distance to the train depot and to town. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. A very nice hot breakfast was included."
