This hotel was fine for checking into before a 2.30am flight the next morning. The lunchtime buffet was fine (approx £20 each). Room was in pretty good condition, but the shower leaked slightly. Could have done with better TV channels. Not much for English travellers. The 11pm shuttle was a bit of a bunfight to get into. Not sure what happened to the people who didn't fit into it! The building causes a lot of shade, so you don't get much sun in the afternoon.

The hotel in itself was quite good. Good services, gym, steam sauna, good breakfast, cleaniness of the rooms was good. Would not perhaps attest to the hotel being 5 stars, due to its relatively far from everything location (for a non-business travelling tourist). One bigger minus was that the hotels receptionist booked us a tour, for which there was a booked pick-up, and promised a message upon arrival. Since the tour would have started at 7:30(am) we woke up significantly earlier, and never heard from the tour operator nor the receptionist desk. Apparently got cancelled due to weather conditions - but bad communication nevertheless. It also seems that the hotel staff does not communicate with each other since our laundry bill didnt come to the reception. Thank you nevertheless for accomodating us.

Good easy hotel, you need a car to explore Muscat as it is out of the center. Not possible to open bedroom windows which for us is a big factor, so no fresh air, and aware this can be common for hotels in the region. Staff are very friendly and service orientated. Decent stay for the budget of what the hotel is.

Unpleasant stay at this hotel

Where do I begin? Firstly if you would like to get double charged for a room without your awareness or approval … then this is the place to stay. Myself and my family were left with no money to enjoy our stay for a couple of days as the hotel double charged us for the room without our authorisation. This prevented us from being able to go out and enjoy our holiday for a couple of days. Further to this, the hotel failed to inform us of upcoming events that would affect our stay… giving us only 1 days notice of said event, had we had known we would have planned to stay at another hotel, as we couldn’t relax during our stay there was a dj that proceeded to play extremely loud music until 3am in the morning, followed by a live band the following day that played loud music for 5 hours the following day… imagine having lack of sleep the previous day, followed by more loud music… not ideal! Further to this, our room was not cleaned for 3 consecutive days despite us placing a clean my room (service) light on the rooms during our stay. Lastly, for ease of travel we utilised the hotel taxis for our journeys, and without my approval or permission my number was shared with the driver the following day, and I mentioned this to the hotel, and nothing was done. My privacy was violated. A very unpleasant stay at this hotel, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms are uncomfortable and you’re unable to open the windows for air, and it’s far from all the attractions in Muscat.

Die to business we required a hotel close to the airport for this it was excellent condition. Sadly enough the dinner buffet was poor and little choice of food especially considering the price you pay, the breakfast buffet had a better selection and options then dinner. The hotel itself was quite good.
