"Staff is incredible and so nice. The beds were super comfy and the in room fridge and microwave were helpful too. The breakfast is basic, but it gets you going. Very much recommend!"

"Wonderful staff— especially young lady at check-in and breakfast young man. Perfect stay— except— I have mobility issues. Checked prior to reservation that there was an elevator— surprised to find floors are split level— and stairs still are required. "

"We missed the last ferry to Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel and really enjoyed staying at Hamilton Inn. We had a room on the bottom floor and it had a balcony that overlooked the beach and we watched all of the birds and ducks passing by. The breakfast was good. And the hot tub after a cold day was perfect. "

"We could not get the water on in the shower. When we called front desk, staff member was very rude. She insisted it worked but had to be pulled and twisted. Both my husband and I tried to the point of fear of breakage. She did offer to come and prove it but neither of us were dressed. Upon checkout, housekeeping came to room and was able to pull with both hands and get water on. She was very pleasant and apologetic. Very disappointing!"
