The hotel was a convinent location for shopping and had lots of restaurants near it. As far as site seeing went we went in a taxi to the gate of India and to Bandra where all the Bollywood stars live. We saw Juhu beach and Santa Cruz and Likoni Bazaar and the famous Chor bazaar. We also went to Mohammed Ali Road where we saw the actual busy traffic of Mumbai along with beautiful clothes and Indian art work.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s a compact room, one can get everything required. Breakfast was enough, one can get all the basic and some Indian item too. It’s very convenient for US consulate trip. Only thing to point out is the suction for exhaust need cleaning, all dust settle there. On arrival one of the pillow cover was dirty, I was given fresh pillow cover at my request. Overall it was good stay.

When I first arrived I was slightly concerned because the hotel was out of down town Mumbai and didn’t look that welcoming. However the rooms were clean and comfortable. What impressed me was the service I was given. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If in Mumbai again I would certainly chose to stay there.

What is there to see and do in Mumbai Central?
You don't have to spend a fortune to get to know Mumbai Central. You can budget for the top local attractions on your list, and then plan some activities that cost very little. Take in the local culture at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum and Royal Opera House, or enjoy the area's natural beauty at Girgaun Chowpatty.
How can I get to Mumbai Central and get around on a budget?
Scoping out the transportation options in Mumbai Central is a smart way to keep your trip affordable. The closest airport is 9.7 mi (15.6 km) away from the centre in Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM). However, if that doesn't suit your budget, you can book a flight to Navi Mumbai Intl.
