"My room was spotless, the kitchen area had everything you might need to do kitchen things, and if there wasn’t, they provided a plethora of items for free…you just had to ask. (I didn’t use or need anything, but they had a sign posted as an FYI). The bathroom, shower, linens were perfect and the desk/work area, laundry basket, etc were a perfect touch. Roosters across the road, Target less than 5 miles away…do I say more? If you plan a trip to Layton. Stay. Here. You’ll be glad you did :)"

"The hotel was nice and convenient to restaurants and stores. The beds were comfortable but bathroom shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers were all empty. The surrounding area smelled like diesel fuel which wasn’t very pleasant."

"The staff was very nice. Breakfast was great. The place was spotless. The only problem I had was I am disabled and the grab bar was broken in the shower. I nearly fell when I grabbed it. Also the neighboring room was making lots of noise in there room around 1am and woke me up."

"Got it, here’s the revised version with that toned down: ⸻ We stayed at this Hampton Inn property and had a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. Unfortunately, the service and amenities did not match that standard. The staff consistently came across as rude and dismissive. It often felt like guests were an inconvenience, with employees frequently on their phones rather than engaged or helpful. The biggest issue was the hot tub. We specifically chose this hotel because of it and even called ahead to confirm it was working. We made it very clear how important that amenity was to our stay, and we were assured it was available. However, during most of our visit, the hot tub was not working and had signs posted. When we asked about it, both staff and management were unhelpful and at times combative, which made the situation even more frustrating. If a hotel offers a hot tub as an amenity, it should be properly maintained or there should be someone on staff who can address issues promptly. Overall, while the rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice, the poor service and lack of follow-through on advertised amenities made this a disappointing stay."
