We had a riverview room with a well equipped kitchenette and full sized fridge (which was quite noisy as was the air conditioning). The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and we appreciated the binoculars and bird guide in our room to make the most of the views through the trees to the river. The gardens were colourful and well tended. Although in a convenient location for exploring the Columbia River area, the lodge is a few miles outside the town centre, be aware that street parking...

This is a great hotel great room very quiet great staff very friendly and helpful nice breakfast next door in restaurant unable to fault

Comfortable beds and a lovely big room. Really quiet apart from the room doors which slam extremely loudly!! Breakfast delicious and plentiful - and not a paper plate in sight 😊 Convenient to shops and eateries and an easy drive into Portland.

Everything's great about this hotel- location, rooms, roof terrace, staff breakfast..difficult to use the pool at certain times so busy. Lots of parking near by so no need to pay for valet parking.

Great hotel in a lovely location, nice smooth check-in, very nice spacious room, very friendly staff.

A laid back and colourful hotel, the vibe of which is perfect for the city of Portland. The staff were briliant, the advice they gave and going that little bit further to provide fantastic customer service by running around on Sunday night to see which places were open for food. The hotel is situated in the Pearl District which is North East of Portland. There is a tram that runs directly outside the hotel, and the hotel provides free tickets for the NE section of the map. This hotel is located just a 5 minute (easy and flat) walk from Mt Hood station, the very first stop on the train from the airport to the city centre (note: they also have a shuttle service). I found the service so convenient that I stayed at this hotel while on a 3-day visit of Portland (the train only takes 30 minutes to Pioneer Square). Staff very friendly, there is a shop by reception with some essentials (soft drinks, beers, wine, snacks, sandwiches, toiletries, aspirin). Good amenities...

Great stopover stay, free pickup and drop off shuttle to and from the airport. Great pancakes

Staff were great. Helpful and friendly. Whoever looks after the small garden deserves a bit of praise. Room tidy and clean. Breakfast options good - waffles! Close to downtown Troutdale. Looks like it had its own security as well. Didn’t see anything of concern.
