Go for a sea view room, the others didn't have much of a view. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful from the manager to the groundsman. Clean and well appointed self-catering facilities. Really need a car as not much around locally. The best place to eat locally is Kiosque Magique abut half way along the beach, unfortunately it's only open during the day not in the evening.

Would use this hotel again a very refreshing change from the overpriced hotels on the island. Small, friendly with a lovely atmosphere. great restaurant plus not expensive. Go for the rooms with a sea view (worth the extra)

This is great resort made even better by the fantastic staff. No query was too much effort. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. The resort is on the beach and has beautiful gardens and pool. The beach is not the prettiest but you are a few minutes walk from 2 beautiful beaches. We had a lovely day Good Life ego Lodge. This is a small boutique hotel in a quiet area of Cap Malhereux. It is within two minutes walk of the red roof church Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice. We use the buses to travel along the north coast and visited all the beautiful beaches. The bus stop is only a few minutes away. The rooms are quite compact, but it was big enough for us. We went for knowing we wanted a lazy holiday. Our aim was to spend as much time on a sun lounger as possible and I think we managed pretty well. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are SO helpful and we possible the best massages in the Spa we've ever had. We explored the 2 towns close to the resort; Port Louis seemed to be more of a day time excursion, the markets are great and its def worth a visit, but beware of getting hassled (its pretty much the opposite of been in the hotel). My family and I spent 12 nights here in April 2016 and from the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave I knew I had made a great choice to spend a memorable holiday. Having travelled a lot for business and pleasure, I have to say this was the best experience ever. Nothing could be faulted . Location, staff and facilities were top notch. The menu was varied even for a veggie like me. And there was even some entertainment every evening

Just perfect. Food is outstanding, service is as good as any hotel we have ever stayed. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and polite. The setting is magnificent. One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Perfect for a romantic or relaxed break. Food is excellent - both buffet and a la carte restaurants. Plenty of water sports to do (free of charge) or tours to other areas of the island.

Apartment size was very generous - kitchen and equipment were all of good quality - WiFi, Bluetooth speaker and tv etc were more than adequate - beautiful tidy garden and pool and the view over the beach is wonderful - staff could not do enough for us especially Sameer, Nalini and Estelle - thanks to all - only issue we had was that the bed was too hard for us !!

We go on many holidays a year however this is by far the best hotel service we have ever received. They did so much for us. A little goes a long way. Even the manager came and spoke to everyone individually during dinner - where else do you get that?! Every single member of staff, gave the best service ! They gave us a cake for our anniversary.
