"We stayed in the self catering and it was lovely. Beautifully clean. The meal in the evening was really nice and the staff were extremely professional and so friendly. They all made such a fuss of our dog!"

"Good price for the night, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff. The only problem was there was no one on reception at 7.40pm. A note was left on the desk, asking customers to ring a mobile number. But as a person who had just arrived from abroad and didnt have a UK mobile phone couldn’t ring the number. Luckily another customer who was also waiting and had a UK mobile phone, rang the number for me. "

"Hotel was recommended to us and we were not disappointed possibly fortunate to have been offered a larger first floor room in a unique hotel. Once we figured out the bedside lamp switch (ask the staff) our time here went quickly. Location on main street on a warm town event filled weekend but external noise didn't interrupt good night sleep. Breakfast great with add ons and take outs catered for. Only downside to the place, in common with many older properties is the abundance of stairs. Would we go back yes no hesitation. "

"Hotel location is good, the room is updated and clean. Make to order breakfast is included. Great Service. On site parking is limited, but there are plenty of off site parking in the back."

"First let me say Marie in customer service was great. But when we first arrived into unit. Could not get into bathroom door locked from inside. Got inside and there was no toilet paper, or hot water, towels. Had to rent towels. I played with propane thing and got hot water.( did call emergency number received no answer)Thank goodness we had our own toilet paper. Went to turn heat on for bed no heat. Maintenance fixed in morning. Went to cook dinner that night no propane to stove. Gave up at that point. We were traveling from Canada i booked this property because it said it had laundry facilities, but it did not. If you are not going to turn water etc on before a guest arrives Some kind of instructions or pictures would be helpful. I enjoyed my stay in moffat not because of my accommodation but because of the people i came to visit."
