"Driftwood Village was a pleasant surprise at Mary Ann Point on Galiano Island. We stayed in the Deer Cottage which is just perfect for two people. The cottage was much larger than I expected with a kitchenette and a full-sized bathroom - - which was in excellent condition and extremely tidy. We had our own private parking spot as well as a patio deck with table and chairs. It was the perfect shady nook for a summer day. It’s always better to have a car, but you can reach the property easily on foot. Probably 40-minutes on foot. Beach Site 14 on Galiano offers a stunning view of Active Pass with large ferry boats passing through it - - as well as the possibility of a pod of orcas. We stayed 4 days, but I think we could have enjoyed the cottage for several weeks. They have larger cottages which I also hope to investigate next summer. Heather made our arrival and departure easy. If you are looking for quiet privacy, a cozy cottage, in lovely surroundings, I encourage you to consider Driftwood Village. "

"This place is drop dead gorgeous. From the architecture to the surrounding landscaping and stunning ocean views (with beach access) this place is nothing short of paradise. And the peaceful quiet made it all the more lovely to enjoy. Comfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud, warm and friendly staff. The most relaxing massage, my skin has never felt better. The hottub over looking the ocean, the gorgeous cedar barrel sauna, everything was clearly well thought out in terms of layout, guest experience, and aesthetics. I have never stayed at a more lovely place. Everything was perfect, and the hospitality was the best I have ever had. We came for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been a more romantic getaway for us. We will be back in a heartbeat!"

"Amazing...a 3 star that is 5 star for nature lovers! Log cabins with kitchen and comfortable beds, real fire places with ample free dry wood topped up daily, view of the lake. 2 hot tubs and sauna, free access to plenty of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards any time you want, small but good size quiet lake with fish to catch, multiple docks with chairs and other access to swim. Eagles, deer etc all around. Suoer attentive and friendly staff on site. Office has tons of games and puzzles to use. Easy drive to town or around this great island - paved main roads right to resort. My wife and i were blown away by this place!! Only recommend for property is to ditch the old brick "bbq" area (at minimum replace rusty grills) and provide actual bbqs :) "
