Elena at the check in was very helpful! Thank you Elena!
Came back to the same hotel within the last couple of months since it’s in a great location close to the center & the central station.
Very nice staff, organized team and very helpful. Great breakfast buffet with a lots of variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Definitely will go back to NH.
Close to metro station
Room 828 was pretty large and roomy. We loved it.
I stayed at Miland in hotels mostly nearby Duomo cathedral. This is the first time I stayed at NH Milano Touring 20 mins away from Duomo but 10 mins near to Milan Centrale train station, as its overnight stay after a 9 days in other parts of Italy, and I have to leave early for flight out of Malpensa international airport to US.
The hotel is rated 4 stars, in a clean , quiet area, next to US consulate and nearby are hi end fashion stores. What I also like about the location is convenient 15 mins away from the old town, Brera , an artsy and bohemian area, with great dining and local and international brands boutique options. And I could walk to Duomo Cathedral area for modern brands shopping and evening stroll by the cathedral.
The staff is professional and friendly. As it was just an overnight, I did need to get much help or interface with the staff. The check is was quick and smooth. The room is new, modern and artistically decorated. i really like the hotel room, compared to downtown hotels that are older.
I had not been to Milan before so didn't really have a good sense of where the hotel was located in relation to where I would want to go, but it worked out great. It's a very manageable walk from the Central Station and very close to the Republica metro station (the Milan Metro is fantastic). Also a very manageable walk to Il Duomo/Galleria and La Scala, our principal destinations (and for many others, I imagine). You can get to the hotel from Central Station on the #2 or #3 Metro or the #9 tram. It's also a block away from the INDRO MONTANELLI PUBLIC GARDENS, one of the first public parks in Europe.
The hotel is lovely. It's a luxury hotel (has doormen, etc.) and is not cheap - I think we were paying a little over $300/night for a twin room, which is more than I am usually inclined to spend on a hotel but seems to be fairly standard for Milan in mid-October. Still peak tourist season, I gather from the huge crowds I saw around Il Duomo.
The rooms are small - I think ours was about 220 sf. - which is not unusual in Europe.
I would definitely stay there again unless I were to find a better deal elsewhere.
Overall a good experience.
We loved the breakfast buffet selections. The location is also very close to amenities and shopping stores.
The bathroom is a bit too small and it was a little difficult to move around. The shower handle was the most difficult to get the temperature to your liking. The showerhead flow was also not the best.
At checkout, we somehow got a charge for a beverage that we did not take. It was later found out that another hotel guest has used our room number. It was rectified in the end after I showed that my signature was not the same as the one on the receipt.
From my hotel experience in Italy as I was staying between Milan, Florence, and Rome, I would have to say this one in Milan is probably the worst experience. I was having very high expectations as overall review on this property was quite high but it was actually a bit disappointing. The room is quite small, actually very small. You would get bigger rooms from budget hotels in uk with cheaper price. The room and bathroom is very dated as well, and bathroom can be a bit damp feel. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s quite convenient to the train station. Walking for like 15min? But for the price I’ve paid, not sure if it’s worth it just for the location. I would suggest look elsewhere if you want better hotel experience in Milan
My family of four had two rooms and stayed for one night. We were very happy with the hotel. Rooms were great. Location was great. And the staff were very kind.

Good was good. Room very average. Beautiful staff.
Comfortable room with daily housekeeping. Excellent location and facilities. Only minor issues were only one working coffee machine for breakfast and one elevator out of service for a while. No amenities in the bathroom. I would recommend.
Definitely visit again, location, room and staff were all great:

The check in process was painfully slow, I think we waited close to 45 minutes just to get the keys for the rooms. The rooms were fine, small but clean. I would say they are certainly not worth the money, 450 euros a night is really a stretch for this hotel The location is great, walkable to everything. In general I don't think the hotel is worth it overall.

Disliked: Staff & service
Not a very friendly staff at check-in, very thin room doors almost paper thin, can hear everyone walking and talking in the hallways, woke up to staff moving material or objects in the hallways at 6am, very loud. Checkout staff much more helpful and nicer.
