"Overall, our stay was fine for the great deal we received on our room at $45.00 per night Monday thru Thursday & had a Studio Suite with two Kings Beds, but if I would of paid any more then that I would of definitely been disappointed. Our room was in a building not connected to the main building in the very back of the property , so it made it very inconvenient having to go to breakfast, luckily it never rained during our stay. This was our third year in a row staying here when visiting Cedar Point. The first year we was happy with our Studio Suite because it was newer looking because some renovations had been done on our room because our room had a big bathroom with a big shower & best of all NO CARPET, which is a plus for me on cleanliness, since I don't like carpet because it holds lots of nasty germs!! Second year, room very small. This year our room was very big, but needed updated very badly because the shower was very tiny because we had this old pink jacuzzi in our room that took up a lot of space where the bathroom could of been bigger instead, very poor lighting that it was very hard to see in the bathroom & rest of bedroom, toilet ended up leaking & we never could figure out how to get the sliding glass door open to the balcony because the lock was messed up. I felt like I walked into a time capsule from the 1980 to 1990 era because it was so dark & made the room look dirty & dingy with this old ugly brown & black carpet with a very big pink jacuzzi."

Bayshore Resort at Put-in-Bay

"The Bayshore was nice in the common areas. Neat and clean. Debbie at the front desk was great, as was Phil in the Tiki Bar. Nice location and convenient that golf carts could be rented on sight. Cons: Our room was not clean, and the balcony/patio was really dirty. (Bugs and cobwebs everywhere). Our bathroom was bad. I wiped things down with Lysol wipes. The room had no clock, no small coffee maker (coffee was only available in the lobby for a $ charge beginning at 9 am I think they said), no refrigerator, no housekeeping during our 2 night stay, (no big deal since only 2 nights but would be for a longer stay), and a small desk top TV. I'm sure some rooms, or Suites had more perks, but for the $$$ spent we were not happy. The rooms did have beautiful views from the balconies."

"The hotel was clean and I liked the idea of no carpet. However, there were things that for the price need to be addressed. 1-no Kleenex in the room 2-cheap residential blinds. As soon as the sun was up the room was incredibly bright. 3-no coffee pot in the room 4-ice maker was broken 5-shower is incredibly small 6-towels were cheap and dingey 7-one bar of soap - a minimum of two are needed (sink and shower)"

"The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay."
