"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. "Very helpful and friendly reception desk staff. Easy check-in and -out process. Good shower/bathroom facilities Comfortable bed with good linen. Slept very well Room is quite small with little space to put a bag/case"

"Parking-we got there early so got a space right outside the front of the hotel, could hear people who arrived later being told parking was further down the road, so not sure on that one. Our room was right opposite the reception desk, thought it would have been noisy, but it didnt disturb our night, was fine. good for location, bus to town etc. 5 min walk from hotel to closest bus stop. we left the car at the hotel the whole stay, and used the buses. would definitely stay here again."

"There were not enough staff in the Restaurant or the Bar. At Breakfast, tables were not cleared; Food items not replenished etc. Staff were trying hard though it seemed. Only one person at the Bar at one stage who had clearly not been trained sufficiently e.g. she did not know how to open a bottle of wine with a corkscrew and it broke."

"Fabulous hotel and absolutely perfect for us including for my son who is a wheelchair user. Great having room on the ground floor and plenty of space for him to manoeuvre including at breakfast time. Staff gave 11O% offering help by bringing items to our table at breakfast as I was helping my son. Disabled parking right next to the entrance. Perfect quiet location just a short drive from Oxford centre. Will definitely return and thanks to an amazing team who are so attentive and friendly."
