Top Mid-Wales Hotel Reviews
The Hafod Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Top notch place to stay, but what makes it special is the bucolic environment within which it sits. Drinks and dinner across the narrow road, with waiting staff navigating the occasional logging truck is not something you see everyday, made for a very memorable summer evening."
Metropole Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Located centrally in the town with excellent parking. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Was nice to sit outside under the beautiful wisteria and enjoy a drink in the evening sun. Brasserie food was excellent. Breakfast was really nice also. A great base for exploring."
The Mount Inn
8/10 Good
"Good value"
The Royal Oak Hotel, Welshpool, Mid Wales
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to say in a small town centre"
Macdonald Plas Talgarth Holiday Resort
8/10 Good
"Stunning surrounding scenery. Clean room with bare necessities supplied. Free Wi-Fi. Studio apartment not as new & fresh as advertised. Be aware of electricity charge at end of stay, bins"
The Cardigan Bay Guest House
8/10 Good
"Loved this place, a small guest house directly on the promenade along the beach front, and in my case with a room overlooking the promenade with a beautiful view of the sea front. Very nice and helpful staff (Sam) asnd a nice small (cafe) and small gift shop. Really lovely place. The room was small for two, with two beds, and a little difficult to negotiate, and the room amenities were very basic. But the place is so nice overall and the location so great, I rate the place 4/5 for what it is (small guesthouse, not an upscale or modern hotel), even though there were drawbacks, I'd certainly stay there again."
