While this is a fantastic hotel with great close amenities, i was caught off guard by the $200 incidental hold. I have stayed in much nicer hotels before with a much lower incidental hold. However, i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the room and staff were fantastic.

My husband and I love this hotel! We stay here often when we come to Memphis. It has easy parking, is right next to Beale st, next door to the Fed Ex Forum, and within walking distance of all downtown attractions. It’s quiet despite the closeness to Fed Ex Forum and Beale. It’s always spotless, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff always friendly, and the bar/restaurant is awesome. This visit we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we were checking in, they overheard us talking and surprised us with an upgrade. We were given a corner suite on the 7th floor that overlooked Beale. It was a gorgeous suite, and we got to see the Memorial Day fireworks from our windows. Thank you, Westin Memphis! We will be back!

This hotel was so nice. It was close to everything we needed to get to. The room was awesome. My only issue was how expensive parking was and if you left you couldn’t get back in unless you paid for valet parking.

We booked and paid for this hotel. Called because we were delayed 7 hours to let them know so they wouldn't give our room away. got in at midnight and they had no room for us. We booked this hotel based solely on location and they could not find a room nearby that was " in their network " for us. We went to the Peabody. They were amazing and gave us a great price on a room for (2) nights.

PROS: The valet parking was convenient. Literally steps away from the FedEx forum and Beale street. There is a restaurant on site (sort of expensive but a good variety of meal options) and a well stocked market for snacks and etc. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet as far as outside sounds go. CONS: The fan in the bathroom doesn’t come on separately from the light. The mini bar in our room was locked and we could not get it open, no instructions were posted. There are no instructions in the elevator (you have to use your room key to get it to actually move). The first impression we got was at check in, the desk clerk had to finish sending a text on her phone right in front of us prior to checking us in.
