"There's a couple of restaurants and Aldi within walking distance. The parking is on site, but part of it is being taken up by trailers (assuming for hotel updates) which made parking a little difficult to find at 11pm on a Saturday night. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was a variety of hot and cold breakfast items. The downfall was the elevators kept breaking down. And the stairwell would only lead outside. One member of our group finds stairs difficult, so luckily only once both elevators were down. Otherwise it would be one. The rooms, hallway, elevators, lobby and Uno Pizza were clean. The stairwell was a bit dirty with banana peel and chunks for two days. The beds were comfortable. My husband usually has a hurt back after staying at hotels, but no complaints this time around."

"There’s no free breakfast everything in the make shift kitchen was over priced the shower has no shelves in it and I had to keep opening the shower door to access my toiletries!! The refrigerator was in the bathroom area under a table and the door jammed to the freezer I was offered another one with no freezer and that fridge wasn’t cold! The mattress on the bed was sliding around the wooden pallet it sits on! The pillows were worn out and flat! My stay was decent, probably won’t rebook this hotel!"

"So far, the property has met expectations, but I took off a star because customer service on the phone forces a long wait time though menus and eventually leads to a human who is not even on-site and takes even longer to find the answer to a simple question -- I had called the number on the website for this hotel location to ask if there was an iron in the room (there is). I am sure the hotel chain is streamlining customer experience and being efficient for their shareholders, but it sucks that a customer's time is not respected. The Mirage hotel onsite was good for dinner, but not great for breakfast. The dinner menu has a nice selection and service was good. When we went for breakfast, the menu either had very small "healthy" entrees or monster ones. I am comparing this to IHOP or Original pancake house based on pricing, so I felt it could have been better. There was one lady attending to everyone, so more waiting. Overall, will stay here again. Chicago area hotels and parking are crazy, so this place (located about 18 miles from downtown) with a little planning frees you from headaches of finding parking and is close to the airport, which makes the return trip more predictable wrt traffic. Uber it from here, basically."
