"There’s no one good thing to say about this hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The staff were amazing, the grounds were pristine. They gave us pajamas and a kimono in our rooms and the rooms were pretty spacious. If you’re considering staying here you won’t be disappointed."

"This a great modern hotel. A leisurely 15 minute stroll to downtown Harajuku. You can experience all the excitement and shopping and dining experiences Harajuku has to offer and then retreat back to a quieter part of town to retire for the evening. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area."

"There were a few minor problems during our stay. The staff addressed them quickly and professionally when we brought them to their attention. One of the beds in our room caused me severe neck pain. It wasn't until the third day that my wife and I switched beds to test that it was the bed. We believe the bed was not level and we had to fight it all night. When she slept in it, we propped one leg up so it was more level. The staff gave us complementary late check out - it was the last day of our stay. Having a comfortable bed is a basic requirement of a hotel, even though this may have been hard to diagnose. The trash bin in the laundry room was overflowing. When we called this in, they took care of it immediately and swept up the floor. It seems guests didn't know how to clear the lint screens, so our first load in the dryer took a long time. There was no trash can in the laundry in the Annex, so we had to carry the lint through several rooms to get to a trash can. Having the subway corridor connect underground all the way from the station to the hotel was a nice bonus. It meant we didn't have to wait for lights or spend too much time in the hot direct sun."

"The garden and location were the main draw. Wonderful to get some space and greenery in the beautiful garden and pool after a busy day in the crowds. 5 minute walk to the subway with easy connections everywhere. Nice if pricey restaurants on site, we opted for the breakfasts which includes two buffets and an incredible Japanese set breakfast, all with wonderful views."

"I have to say that I’ve seen many hotels in Japan, but the staff at this hotel were very friendly during the evening. They offer apple juice and green tea. They also offer some facial amenities as well as bath salt the areas located near Lawson 711 in the Starbucks and the train station."
