The owners are really friendly and helpful, they explained everything with a tour of the amenities etc. Breakfast was freshly made and amazing. The room was lovely and very modern.

I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. The bed was a little firmer than I like but then everyone has different tastes. The coffee was good, the water fountain...

Amazing location, style and very helpful staff

One night only, but it was lovely. Quiet and beautiful. I stayed in the new wing, which was lovely. My room was huge and the bathroom was beautiful. The grounds are pretty and look over the vines. Not sure about the rest of the local area.

Beautiful Hotel. Could not fault it.

Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts...

Facilities have been recently upgraded - room excellent. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet very good :-)

I stayed in Les Chambres au Coeur de Bordeaux for 1 night with a friend but would have loved to stay longer. The B& B is just beautiful and the owners so friendly and welcoming that you feel like part of the family. When we arrived we were greeted by the husband and wife and was offered a nice glass of wine while they told us about the area, recommended places to eat and what to see and do for our 2 days in Bordeaux. We were then taken to our beautiful room with a nice little french balcony....

This hotel is part of the inter hotel chain, but rather like the Best Western chain each hotel seems independent from one another. This one is small enough to make you fee like a guest, there are around 30-35 rooms. The facilities are what you would expect from a three-star hotel and although we did not take breakfast/petit dejeuner in the hotel, it always looked quite reasonable. Can't really fault this hotel. Reception staff and restaurant /breakfast staff were extremely kind and helpful. Everyone spoke English if you can't speak French as well. Stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor facing the main road. Although there was passing traffic you couldn't hear a thing due to the triple glazing. Beautiful old building in the heart of old bordeaux. Large, comfortable room. Walking distance to all of the old town and riverfront. I will stay here again.

The hotel ideally situated for the centre of Bordeaux, a few metres from the Quinconces. Transport connections first class, and an easy ride to the airport.The staff helpful, the room very comfortable, quite and cool, less of a problem when we stayed, but in July would have been an issue. Breakfast was good, and prepared us for the boat trip...! The Tourist office literally over the road. Normandie surpassed our expectations, and we will certainly return!

The hotel room was absolutely amazing. So beautifully decorated and high quality furniture and thoughtful design. The balcony was very cool aswell. The hotel is ideally located with perfect access to trams and restaurants and bars. Fabrice was very welcoming and met with us each morning and served us breakfast. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in France.

The hotel and the surrounding area are great, picture perfect, tasty with a lot of activities. Hotel staff is a little forgetful, - for example when asked to organise a wine tour they never bothered, when I asked to book hotel restaurant for a birthday party they said they did but on the night it turned out they didn't bother again. Make sure you chase them properly.

Staff most friendly and helpful as we have two large dogs so we always stay on the ground floor. We have stayed before so we know what to expect. Also great dog walking facilities

Very friendly staff, with a cosy vibe and a pleasant courtyard. Directly opposite the main railway station and also handy for the trams to get you quickly and easily to the city centre.

Very pleased with the Pullman Bordeaux Lac. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception on arrival. Free up grade to superior room. Quick and efficient check in. Room was very good, overlooking the lake-it is a very quiet location. Very clean room. Hotel itself in a few places looks a bit jaded-the odd stain on the carpets here and there for instance, but there is a renovation programme underway. All the facilities were spotless. Superb buffet breakfast with everything you could imagine....
