"The staff is very helpful , location is perfect and also the ac works fine, bathroom Needs a lot of TLC, however water pressure is fine hot and cold water, bk is not international , is limited but I am not a bk person. Suggestion Always pay the hotel Transfer because they will help you with the bags, due to taxis are not allowed inside the Medina. If you book your own taxi you ll have to take your own bags into the riad and believe me, it will be a nightmare. Transfer for us was 15 euros, totally worth it. I would definitely stay again in this Riad. Room very clean and in general hotel is clean."

"My room was freezing cold. Unfortunately the radiator from 1920 didn’t work. The engineer made 4 trips with different tools at 11:00 at night but still couldn’t get it to work. I slept in my clothes. The shower was lovely but seriously flooded the bathroom with 3 inches of water. My chicken dinner at the Asian restaurant was undercooked which is a recipe for serious illness and rice was $15 extra. Not great value for your money. .the security was oppressive until I understood why and then it was much appreciated. The comped my drink but still "

"Riad Karmela at heart of medina, run by a team full of heart Eager to escape the end of the harsh British winter and keen for some early spring sunshine, we opted to go to Marrakech for a week. We picked this Riad because of its location and aesthetic and it did not disappoint. Situated in the Azbezt area of the medina, it is a few minutes’ walk from all the hustle and bustle of the souks and is excellent for all your needs as a tourist in the city. It is close to most of the main attractions and no more than 10-15 minutes walk from excellent restaurants. We took advantage of the transfers arranged by the hotel which was an excellent idea, as they bring you as close to the hotel as is physically possible. Walking down the narrow street to the fairy lit tunnel entrance, you enter the hotel and find an absolute oasis of peace and quiet. The riad is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, with several small courtyards that guests can rest in and shelter from the sun and the city. The roof of the hotel has many chairs and loungers for people who wish to worship the sun. The rooms were brilliantly furnished, with great facilities. The bed was amazingly comfortable with wonderful pillows we wish we could have kept! The breakfast every day was an excellent buffet, with an enormous range of tasty treats and delights on offer, including a wide range of hot and cold drinks. "It is a fabulous hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff are amazing… literally everyone! Front desk staff brilliant, restaurant amazing, bar staff amazing and cocktails fantastic. Shout out to Mohammed at the resort which we loved. Cooking school is a must. Restaurant was the best meal we had. Only let down is the roof top terrace! Terrible service there and dreadful drinks. Hotel put it right on our return to their main bar. We will definitely be back. "
