"Lovely old building with nice rooms. Updated modern bathroom. The staff were all absolutely brilliant, from the reception lady to the breakfast people. All really pleasant, helpful and efficient."

"Great place. I had a nice room, with tea (and milk!) and biscuits. Right in the centre of Woodstock and is part of the King's Arms pub, which is also an excellent place for a beer. Breakfast exceptionally good. Staff lovely and kept my bags for me after checkout. Constructive criticism, would have been helpful if person at checking noticed I had a lot of bags and struggling up stairs, to lend a hand. However, would totally go back there. Parking is not so easy in Woodstock with metered parking. But for check in can park outside/near hotel and take in bags for free for 1 hour (use the parking meter, enter reg and enter "free" option). Longer term parking need to feed meters. But many road parking spots allows overnight parking after, say 6pm, until 8am. However found that feeding meter before 6pm allowed for a later time next morning, 9am or 10am. Everyone else I was with in at different hotels in Woodstock struggled with parking places/rules [be great for Woodstock arms to have a leaflet with such info and other parking areas recommendations]. Ended up using an pay app to park on someone's local driveway, worked well. Hotel recommended."

While not a highly luxurious stop over, it was clean and very quiet for a good nights sleep.. perhaps a bit of maintenance needed in the rooms but the restaurant and breakfast were very nice and it very friendly service. Would stay again 👍"

"We had a very comfortable stay at The Crown Inn in the heart of lovely Woodstock. The bed and other furniture in our room were very comfortable. Steve the manager was particularly friendly and helpful. It was simple enough to find on-street parking a short walk away and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling. Blenheim Palace is very close by and the journey takes only a few minutes whether on foot or in a vehicle."

Ok for a weekend. No fridge :( Bathroom small, but OK. Great base to visit local places like Witney. Half the price if hotels in Oxford, just 25 minutes. Free parking on site."
