"I personally would never come back here. We found a roach in the room, the room was dirty, there was no fridge or kitchen area at all. AC didn't work that well, toilet smelt. Shower flooded if water was running on "high pressure." Staff extremely unhelpful waited an entire 1.5 to get into reserved room. No seating, and light is bright white."

"Amazing property, history and arquitecture, however the service was not the best, i was there 5 years ago with my husband and the service was outstanding compare to this time around. Sadly, it has left me with a disappointing feeling as this is an outstanding hotel. Please ask foe late check out and they informed me that we were OK to stay until 1 PM. However, they keep pressuring my dad to leave at noon the room and told him that he was past his check out time, really rudely and he was going to get charged. Also, we were supposed to do the tour of the hotel at 5 PM and the tour guy showed up at 5:30 and he was completely unprepared and didnt really know much of the history of the hotel. Definitely the service is not as it used to be.."

"Top notch facility, clean, outstanding views, very gracious staff and 100% secure. I got one of the VIP rooms with 2 beds and baths. Picture perfect sunsets. There is a beautiful view of the city from the rear where the door and walkway are, and there is a small soccer field down below where you can take in all levels of games from 8am-11pm with food and refreshments. I advise to not venture too far back there for your safety, however, but the walled city is just a 15 minute walk or 5 min Uber ride away. "

"They over charge in the restaurant by adding crazy numbers like, 10% tip when the service was terrible. I ask for a lemon, salt, cup of water, never arrive plus some crazy taxes (IVA) my bill for 3 persons was 285,00 Colombia pesos a total of $82 US dollars. More than $25 dollars per plate for a piece of Steak and vegetables, not even sea food, just regular simple plate of food."
