So they have the hotel they feature in the ads on Expedia and they have the Villa annex, a series of shabby old rooms right next to a bar and karaoke stand and basket ball court. All fricking night, basket balls thumping, music blaring, drunks screaming and laughing. It was loud, even the air condition didn't drown out the din. I can see where one of the drunks might like a ring side room but these animals were playing basket ball in the evening and they finally went home at 7 am. No one in our group was able to sleep all night long. Probably the worst hotel stay in my life.

Beware
Where do I start? Upon checking in, we found the room was swarming with mosquitoes. The hut isn't sealed, so mosquitoes and bugs can come in freely. During the night my partner woke up to find a cockroach crawling around her pillow. I woke up to food poisoning (unrelated to hotel) and guess what, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. In the morning, we lost running water right around when we needed to wash out before checkout. We decided to gamble because of the location despite seeing very mixed reviews. I have a hard time believing the good reviews are actually real. Absolutely awful experience, which would have been less awful if the price of this hotel wasn't so expensive.
