Lovely hotel, absolutely brilliant location. We received a lovely welcome and told about the room. The room itself was fabulous, well decorated and a pleasant place to spend time. The TV was huge, and the bed was extremely comfortable. well stocked mini bar, an Illy Nespresso style machine and great views made the stay even better. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Velvet to anyone looking for a great hotel within walking distance of the bets bits of the city.

Unlike other hotels the Velvet lives up to expectations and delivers what it promises. We were met by a great host and given a glass of Prosecco on check in. One of our rooms wasn’t quite what we expected but we were quickly moved to another room which exceeded expectations and our stay was amazing. We would recommend and so would our friends who we booked the other room for. Great value for money and fabulous rooms!

Lovely hotel

We have been to velvet a couple of times now, we love it. Lovely rooms, friendly staff and perfectly situated. This stay was slightly tarnished by being woken up at 5:30am by someone blasting music in the room above us, but after calling reception and letting them know they sorted it quickly. Highly recommend this hotel

Our second stay here at the Velvet Hotel just as good as the first. Attentive staff lovely clean room everything you need for a comfy stay. We had the continental breakfast delivered to our room this time . Handed to us on a lovely tray on time pastries granola fruit and breakfast bar with an orange juice was just what we needed. See you again same time next year for our annual visit to the Palace.
