"The staff was pleasant and helpful. Most outstanding to me was the actual Accessabile Room.The lower bed made getting in and out much easier. Also appreciated that the shower chair was separate. That made me able to move it where I needed it. "

"The hotel was fine until my niece unexpectedly got sick in the middle of the night I had approached the front desk staff about cleaning supplies to take care of the mess myself they only had Lysol wipes then decided to charge me over $100 to supposedly replace the carpet piece where they said they could not get the stain out! Completely ridiculous! And total b.s! Carpet cleaning would have gotten this taken care of it was not that bad!"

"My stay at the American was memorable. I was there for the monthly play reading and could not believe how pumping the restaurant was for a Monday night. Talk about vibe. Food was delicious, and the interior design was fun and energetic. Pat at the front desk was so helpful to me at check-in. I felt that, as a solo traveler, she gave me extra care. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean."

"The photos and price fooled me. It's basically an overpriced roadside motel next to a bar and not a very nice or quiet area. Very loud traffic from rt 9. When i turned over the comfortor on the bed the underside looked so worn and dirty that i left. It would be passable if they charged $75 a night. It's not what you would expect for $115."

"Amazing staff. Super kind and helpful. We had a small issue with a neighbor who was hard of hearing and shouting to communicate, but front desk moved us to a new right away. The pool was nice and warm and the area was clean. Breakfast was really good. The area was super clean. Our room could have been vacuumed better but that was the only complaint. It was a quick 20 minute drive to Point Pleasant. I definitely plan to stay here again when visiting Point Pleasant! "
