"Fantastic welcome by staff, I’ve touch with free fruit shoot and lollipop for kids. Room- tired and in need of a lot of tlc damage to furniture and mold in room windows worn and allowing a draft."

"The room and property were first class along with the staff. We will definately rebook within the next 12 months for another 3 night stay. On the down side, we had an evening meal and we were disappointed with the quality of food and reported this to reception, who immediately offered a complimentary breakfast that did not materialise."

"Stunning hotel! A bit outside of Chester so I’d recommend taking snacks and drinks, however the restaurant was lovely and we really enjoyed the food and drinks! Spa is great and really good value for money, will definitely visit again."

"The level of service was exceptional and the staff were friendy and helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious and it was a lovely suprise to have table service instead of a buffet. It is disappointing that the hotel is due to close on the 30th September, as we would have visited again in the autumn."

"Friendly staff, a clean spacious room with a comfortable bed. A view of the canal. Lots of choice at breakfast. A lovely gesture that the children eating breakfast were given bags of food to feed the local ducks! What more can you ask for?"
