Having read about 5* hotels in Egypt being a big over claim, we were preparing ourselves expecting the photos to have flattered the place, assuming it would be a bit tatty, not necessarily perfectly clean, boring food and maybe a patchy level of service. Nothing could have been further from the truth, it was SUPERB.
Add to that all the staff were warm and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you.
We seemed to be the only English family in the hotel, which I have never experienced...

We enjoyed the food and snacks very much. Only two things that could be improved is the cocktail selection and the limited number of towel stations. We had to walk quite far to get them exchanged. Overall it is an excellent, luxurious hotel.
