"Loved this stay!! Amazing location, got hours view!!"

"The rooms were very basic, the door was super thin and I could hear everyone walking past, to the elevator all night. The doors weren’t lockable to ensure a safe environment. The lighting in the room was bad, no bedside lamps or lighting to allow relaxation. Only master ceiling lights that were positioned in odd places around the room. The bed sheets were dirty, with marks on top of the bed when I checked in. It was late at night when I arrived so chose not to raise it with staff due to needing to unwind and get to bed. I didn’t want the hassle of having to go back down to reception and change rooms. The gym, if you call it that, was abysmal. The treadmill was out of order and the rest was lacking. There was also plenty of bugs crawling around the room and tables. Overall the condition of the hotel was worn out and needs updating."

"The location is very convenient, it is right there as you get off the ferry. It is also handy to the bus and to the supermarket, cafes and restaurants in Nelly Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice enough. The room wasn't cleaned/serviced at all while we were there, which wasn't a huge deal, but I was expecting, with the price that we paid, that it would be. The pools were freezing cold so we went in the Ocean instead and didn't use them at all. They would probably be better in Summer/hotter weather. The local rock wallabies are just a short walk away."

"First, it was my first time to Magnetic Island and I was unsure of where to stay on the island. I defaulted to this hotel as it had high customer ratings. Location: I ended up extending my stay so was able to stay on other parts of the island but my favorite was this one. Although in Nelly Bay, it is on such a quiet street across the bridge from the main town. It was literally a 3 min walk to a beautiful miles Long Beach. Also within a 7 min walk was a great coffee shop, restaurant and grocery store. Resort: I wouldn’t describe it as a luxury resort but that is why I LOVED it. It felt like family. It was very personalized, VERY CLEAN, and it had all the things you would need. I would rate it 10/10. It was nice to have a washing machine/dryer too. They had a pool table which was great."
